Cedip Infrared Secures Company

Cedip Infrared Systems of Croissy-Beaubourg, France, has acquired PolyTech AB of Stockholm, Sweden, a manufacturer of gyro-stabilized airborne platforms. The acquisition represents an advance for Cedip in its development of IR imaging systems for the military and civilian surveillance markets. PolyTech’s balls and turrets for helicopters, pilotless drones and other aircraft carry sensors and measurement equipment for observation and monitoring purposes. Details of the purchase were not revealed.
