Unaxis Optics Grants License to Technology

Unaxis Balzers Ltd.’s optics division in Balzers, Liechtenstein, has licensed its patented ColorWheels technology to Premier Image Technology Corp. of Taipei, Taiwan, for projection display applications. The nonexclusive, global agreement covers certain Unaxis-owned US patents as well as corresponding ones in European and Asian countries that were granted or are pending. The ColorWheels technology is used for sequential color management in multimedia projection systems, such as digital light processing technology.
