Nuvonyx Purchases Thales Laser Diodes

Nuvonyx Inc. of Bridgeton, Mo., has acquired Thales Laser Diodes of Orsay, France, as a subsidiary and has renamed the entity Nuvonyx Europe SA. The acquisition enables Nuvonyx to expand its portfolio to include actively and passively cooled continuous-wave and quasi-continuous-wave laser diode devices, while establishing a strategic presence in the European market. Its products have applications in the aerospace, defense, research and industrial manufacturing markets.
