Avo Photonics Expands Medical Product Services

A specialist in radio-frequency products and optical packaging, Avo Photonics of Horsham, Pa., has expanded its facilities to include full-service medical device contract manufacturing support. It has added 500 sq ft of class 100 cleanroom space to its 6000 sq ft of class 10,000 space. With additional engineering personnel, modeling tools and advanced equipment, the company will provide design and assembly services for its products. The modeling tools, including electrical/radio frequency, optical, thermal and mechanical analysis, prepare products for prototyping and low- and high-volume production.
