Wahl Adds Packaging, Interconnection Unit

Wahl optoparts GmbH of Triptis, Germany, has created a department dedicated to packaging and interconnection technologies. The addition enables the complete production of optoelectronic systems, such as fitting components to sensors and other components or correcting for deviations of position. As a result, the company offers such services as wafer cutting, chip and wire bonding, optics assembly, surface-mount technology, final testing, packaging and procurement of required components.
