MRC Optics Wins Contract from Lockheed Martin

MRC Optics, a subsidiary of Photonic Products Group Inc. of Northvale, N.J., has received a contract from Lockheed Martin’s Electronics and Missiles Control Div. in Orlando, Fla., to supply optical components for the Lot II production of the Arrowhead electro-optical system. The third award to MRC Optics for the system since 2002, the contract will cover deliveries through October 2006. The value of the allotment was not disclosed. The Arrowhead fire control system for the AH-64 Apache helicopter is the US Army’s modernized target acquisition designation sight/pilot night vision sensor system.
