LMI Technologies Joins Forces with QMC

Supplier of three-dimensional machine vision technology LMI Technologies Inc. of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and QMC LLC of Auburn Hills, Mich., have formed a distribution partnership. QMC will have exclusive rights for the sale, distribution and integration of 3-D fixed in-line and flexible robotic machine vision sensing products in the North American market and will provide support and upgrades for LMI customers.

LMI Technologies Automotive Div. of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, supplies laser-based sensors for the dimensional measurement of automotive bodies and subassemblies. Since 2001, the company has partnered with QMC to bring the measurement systems to the automotive shop floor. QMC manufactures dimensional engineering products, including flexible robotic inspection systems.
