ATC and Oxley Ally for Protective Coatings

In the UK, Advanced Technology Coatings Ltd. of Plympton and electro-optics supplier Oxley Developments Co. Ltd. of Ulverston have partnered to develop and supply laser protection coatings for the high-technology market, particularly in the US. The collaboration is an extension of the companies' relationship in fabricating optical filters for use in night-vision lighting applications. It will focus on creating optical products for use in specialized equipment, such as eyewear and instrumentation, that provide protection from laser energy used in defense and medical applications.
