Melles Griot Releases 10th 'Catalog X'

CARLSBAD, Calif., June 7 -- Melles Griot announced it has released its tenth "Catalog X" product and technology guide, a 1148-page catalog of more than 25,000 parts and 1100 new items, with expanded tutorial sections and a variety of features designed to simplify the photonics component selection process.

New products include lead- and arsenic-free optics, an expanded line of filters and polarization components, redesigned optomechanical hardware, cutting edge DPSS and diode laser assemblies and new laser beam and spectral measurement instruments, including spectrometers, spectrophotometers, spectrum analyzers, wavemeters and a variety of new power and energy meters.

New technology sections provide detailed theoretical and practical information on lasers, vibration-isolation systems, beam and spectral measurement and optomechanical components. Other technology sections have been extensively revised and updated.
