Opto Diode Corp. announced it has completed its new domestic wafer fabrication facility, in Newbury Park, Calif., and that its cleanroom facility and 6-in. wafer line are in full production. The company, based in Newbury Park, is a supplier of visible, high-power LEDs and IRLEDs; it recently introduced a line of high-performance photodiodes and now offers silicon photodetectors and gallium aluminum arsenide devices.

PicoQuant GmbH, a German manufacturer of picosecond diode lasers, photon counting instrumentation and fluorescence measurement systems, has moved its offices and laboratories to a new site in Berlin.
