Nikon Microscopy, Metrology Units Combine

Based in Melville, N.Y., Nikon Instruments Inc. has formed an industrial microscopy and metrology department to strengthen its footing in global markets. The integrated unit is expected to streamline connections between end users and design engineers. The department will provide full product management of industrial microscopes, core measuring and Nexiv vision systems, while offering enhanced customer support. It intends to work with the company's planning and design departments and to provide a voice for Latin American and US industrial customers to assist in planning business expansion.
