Verizon and Yahoo said they expect to help increase broadband demand and to win converts from cable broadband access. Yahoo! will receiving monthly per-subscriber fees, and Verizon Online will share revenues from premium services subscriptions, searches and advertising. The alliance builds on an existing relationship to offer a variety of Yahoo's services to Verizon Wireless subscribers. The companies said they will seek additional cooperative opportunities.
