PerkinElmer will hold a majority interest in the joint venture, which will be headquartered in Thane, India, with demo facilities and sales offices in Mumbai, Thane, New Delhi, Chennai, Baroda, Pune, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Kolkatta and Bangalore. PerkinElmer India will employ 180 people in direct sales, service, technical support and administration.
