SPIE Defense and Security Symposium 2004

April 12-16, 2004, Gaylord Palms Resort Convention Center, Kissimmee, Florida. Attend the most prestigious international symposium on sensors, algorithms, electronics, simulation and control technologies for defense and security: The SPIE Defense and Security Symposium (formerly AeroSense). Your participation adds to the critical mass of knowledge and furthers the global impact of sensing technologies.
The Defense & Security Symposium is designed to meet the technical, educational and business needs of the engineers and scientists who develop and use electro-optical, digital and microwave technologies for sensor-related defense and security applications. Discussions of both "spin-on" and "spinoff" commercial applications of defense- and security-related technologies help keep members of the scientific and technical community at the cutting edge of their professions.
The symposium, with its complementary technical conferences, education program and exhibition, provides a unique forum for technology, product and system developers from the industrial, government and academic communities around the world to discuss, debate and shape the future of their field.

Please note these new conferences added by the organizing committee for 2004:

  • Biometrics Technology for Human Identification 3-D Laser Radars
  • Critical Review on Laser Technologies for Defense and Security Spaceborne Sensors
  • Spacecraft Platforms and Infrastructures
  • Modeling, Simulation and Calibration of Space-based Systems
  • Polarization, Measurement, Analysis and Remote Sensing

The unified product exhibition, featuring 250 companies, allows you to see the most current hardware, interact with product exhibitors and increase your awareness of product developments across the broad spectrum of sensor modalities.
Plan now to be a part of this meeting -- enjoy our beautiful location in sunny Orlando, Florida, near all the attractions. Don't miss the opportunity to take part in this exciting symposium!
