Dalsa to Provide Cameras for Flat Panel Display Inspection

Dalsa Corp., based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, has received camera orders totaling $3.9 million from two suppliers of flat panel display inspection equipment. The cameras are employed in vision systems that inspect flat panel televisions, notebook computers and liquid crystal display monitors as they are being produced. This type of inspection is a market that is driving growth in the company's Digital Imaging Business, according to Savvas Chamberlain, CEO of Dalsa. The orders are expected to be delivered this year.
