ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. announced recently that a pharmaceutical company has placed a $2.2 million order for two high-speed, fully automatic ATS machine vision inspection systems. ATS said this is the first of a number of standard-technology based automation systems it is developing specifically for the pharmaceutical industry.
