Teradyne announced that
Mark E. Jagiela has been promoted to president of its Semiconductor Test Division, replacing
Michael Bradley, who was recently promoted to president. As a vice president at Teradyne since 2001, Jagiela was responsible for marketing and business unit management for Semiconductor Test.

Rockwell Collins to supply global positioning system (GPS) engines to the US Army; the two-year contract has an estimated value of $30 million. Rockwell Collins is providing a small, lightweight, third-generation GPS receiver that offers geolocation and precise positioning capabilities for military navigation, tactical communications, battlefield computing and other equipment.
