Ltd., of Taiwan, a manufacturer of GaN-based light-emitting diode (LED) wafers, recently ordered two AIX 2600G3 HT reactors, both in 24- by 2-inch configuration, from AIXTRON, a manufacturer of MOCVD equipment for the production of compound semiconductors. The order follows the qualification in December of the company's first 24- by 2-inch large-scale reactor system. Tekcore’s product portfolio includes green, blue and ultraviolet UHB-LED wafers.
