Trojan Technologies Inc. of London, Ontario, announced it has received an order valued at $16 million (US$10.9 million) for an ultraviolet (UV) wastewater disinfection system to be installed at the Valley Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant near Birmingham, Ala. The contract calls for the delivery of eight Trojan UV4000Plus units, which will treat up to 600 million gallons of wastewater a day. The construction schedule for the plant is still being finalized, but the UV systems are expected to be delivered during 2004.
. . . Garrett A. Garrettson has been appointed to the
Catalyst Semiconductor board of directors, and will serve on the board's audit and compensation committees. Garrettson succeeds Cynthia M. Butitta, who resigned.
