Candela Corp. announced the US Food and Drug Administration has cleared its GentleYAG laser for treatment of facial wrinkles. In January, the device was cleared for treatment of pseudofolliculitis barbae, or skin irritation caused by shaving.   . . .   Henry L. Hirvela was elected to the board of directors by Three-Five Systems Inc., which makes display systems that use liquid crystal display and liquid crystal on silicon microdisplay technology.
