Spirent, Juniper Networks Team for Router-OSS Interoperability
ROCKVILLE, Md., Jan. 28 -- Spirent Communications, a wholly owned business group of Spirent plc announced a joint interoperability alliance with Juniper Networks a leading provider of edge and core routing solutions. The agreement will connect Spirent's Perform performance-management and Sentry fault-management operations support systems (OSS) with Juniper’s E-series, a family of routing platforms created to accommodate carrier requirements for deploying IP services at the network edge.
The agreement supports the carriers' migration to an ADM based architecture, and integration of their ADM access and MPLS IP core networks.
