NP Photonics, a supplier of optical components and modules for the sensing and telecommunications markets, announced it has shipped samples of its precision optical spectrum analyzer engines to three companies that manufacture fiber optic sensing instruments. . . . Space Imaging announced today that John Copple has resigned as CEO of the company in order to pursue other opportunities. Copple will maintain a consulting role. Robert Z. Dalal was elected acting CEO. Dalal has been vice president and CFO of the company since 2001. Space Imaging is a supplier of visual information products and services derived from space imagery and aerial photography.
