Three-Five Systems, a provider of display products and systems, announced it will become the exclusive channel in the Americas for standard and custom LCD products manufactured by
Data International Co. Ltd., of Taiwan. Three-Five Systems will also have the right to sell those products through its worldwide channels. The company has established a sales office in Orlando and hired sales and applications engineering personnel who have supported Data International's products in North and South America for the past ten years. Three-Five Systems said it is in the process of establishing agreements with several distribution companies that stock Data International products.
. . . Charles Abbe has joined the board of directors at
Cymer Inc., a supplier of excimer light sources used in semiconductor manufacturing. He replaces Kenneth M. Deemer, who has retired.
