Shipley, Coviant Firm Optical Partnership

HORSHAM, Pa., and BLACKSBURG, Va., Jan. 20 -- Shipley Company LLC, a supplier of components and processes for optical device manufactures, and Coviant Inc., a precision optical manufacturing services provider, announced they will strengthen their strategic partnership. Shipley will become a preferred supplier of fiber optic subcomponents and services to Coviant, and Coviant will provide optoelectronic component design and manufacturing services to Shipley’s customers.

The companies said they will provide an end-to-end component packaging solution to customers in the telecommunications, military/aerospace, medical and industrial markets.
