Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology announced it will supply etching and deposition processing tools to
National Nano Device Laboratory in December, to be used in NNDL's new research cleanroom facility in Tainan Science-Based Industrial Park, Taiwan. These tools will be used to develop products such as photonic crytal for waveguide and sensor switch using MEMS techniques.
. . . Space Imaging announced it has established a new commercial regional affiliate,
European Space Imaging, which will collect and sell earth imagery and related products from the IKONOS satellite. Its headquarters as well as the receiving antenna and processing facility will be located in Munich, Germany. The contract was signed Oct. 16. Owned and operated by Space Imaging, IKONOS is high-resolution commercial imaging satellite.
