JEOL USA has opened a new office in Pleasanton, Calif. Headquartered in Peabody, Mass., JEOL is a supplier of electron microscopes for semiconductor, biological, material science, pharmaceutical, geological and forensics research and analysis. The Pleasanton office, at 5353 Stoneridge Drive, will primarily support the Electron Optics Div.'s analytical tools used in chip manufacturing. The new 8,000-square-foot facility will house a lab, the west coast service center and parts warehouse and a sales office.
