Media Cybernetics Buys Assets of Definitive Imaging

Image analysis software provider Media Cybernetics Inc. of Silver Spring, Md., has purchased the intellectual property and related assets of Definitive Imaging Ltd., which is a supplier of software for metallographic and materials science quality control.

As a result of the acquisition, Media Cybernetics will expand its product offerings in the materials analysis market. It will continue to support the acquired company's MSQ software, which provides a quantitative method for analyzing and measuring samples in materials laboratories.
