Nortel Networks Announces Organization Changes
TORONTO, Oct. 7 -- Nortel Networks has announced changes to its organization to reflect "a more streamlined structure" focused on four key businesses: wireless networks, wireline networks, enterprise networks and optical networks.
These changes will result in an "enhanced performance-driven business model that will ensure greater accountability and customer alignment," said Frank Dunn, president and CEO.
Pascal Debon will continue as president, Wireless Networks; Brian McFadden will continue as president, Optical Networks; Sue Spradley was named president, Wireline Networks; and Oscar Rodriguez was named president and general manager, Enterprise Solutions. Frank Plastina, president, Metro and Enterprise Networks, has resigned, the company said.
