John Minelly has been named CTO of PriTel Inc., of Naperville, Ill., which makes high-pulse-rate fiber lasers and pulse compressors, fiber amplifiers, transmitters for 40 Gbps and sub-picosecond fiber lasers. Minelly will develop new product opportunities. . . . Marubeni Solutions Corp. and Seika Corp. have made agreements with TRONIC'S Microsystems, developer of custom microelectromechanical systems devices for high-end applications, to represent its silicon-based microsystems foundry services in Japan.
