Lightscape XDM Project in China Extended

PETAH TIKVA, Israel, August 22 -- Lightscape Networks announced that the State Power Corp. of China has chosen its XDM next-generation optical networking platform for the fifth phase of its project to expand and upgrade its regional network.

This latest implementation of XDM, which introduces 10 Gigabit capacity to SPCC's infrastructure of Beijing Metro network, builds on previous XDM deployments in the national backbone. The XDM is currently transporting live traffic within the communications infrastructure servicing the power networks of the Three Gorges Project in China.
