Photon Inc., a supplier of laser beam profilers and electro-optical instrument systems, has formed a BeamScan engineering division.. . .UK-based Photonic Products Ltd., distributor of laser diodes and manufacturer of optoelectronic components based on semiconductor laser diode technology, opened a US office this month in El Segundo, Calif. David Stephen, who has over five years of experience in the American industrial laser diode market with companies such as Blue Sky Research and Lyte Optronics, will head the new office.
