Diametrics Medical Inc. announced it has signed an exclusive agreement with Biometric Imaging Inc. for evaluation, licensing and potential product development of Biometric's optical technologies to complement Diametrics' core optical and electrochemical biosensor technology platforms for point-of-care diagnostics. . . . DRS Technologies Inc.'s Infrared Technologies unit in Dallas, Texas, received the 2002 Herschel Award for its vertically integrated photodiode and high-density vertically integrated photodiode infrared detector technology. It was presented recently at the annual meeting of the Detector Specialty Group of the Military Sensing Symposia.
