RVSI, Microvision Team on Mobile Biometric System

BOTHELL, Wash., May 7 -- Microvision Inc. and Robotic Vision Systems Inc. (RVSI) have agreed to co-market a mobile biometric identification system. The system, which incorporates Microvision's Nomad personal display system and RVSI's ID Trace biometric authentication technology, is targeted at government and commercial security applications.

The system will provide users with a wearable display ID system to instantly verify the identity of an individual without losing visual contact with the person.
