White Electronic Designs Corp.'s Display Products Div. has received a $1.1 million order for displays using super-bright low-reflection technology for avionics applications, such as cockpit instrumentation in commercial business jets and air transport planes, where ambient light precludes the use of conventional flat panel displays.
