MCORE Corp., a provider of semiconductor technologies for global communications, has announced the sale of two Discovery LDM (laser diode machine) production tools to Nova Crystals Inc. of San Jose, Calif. The two reactors will be used to support the manufacturing and development of Nova Crystals' high-speed, long-wavelength PICSEL lasers and InGaAs-on-Si APDs.
