TeraSpan Announces Alberta deployments

VANCOUVER, March 18 -- TeraSpan Networks, an Ignition Point company, announced it has completed installation of two private fiber optic networks in the town of Cochrane, its first deployment in Alberta.

TeraSpan is also currently completing deployment of a private network in Calgary, linking key municipal properties in the metro core.

"We are extremely pleased with these deployments, because they demonstrate TeraSpan's ability to deploy in a cold environment. Our crews, faced with sub-zero temperatures, encountered no installation problems," said Michael Priest, vice president, sales and marketing.
