Cypress Semiconductor announced that David D. Fleischer was appointed head of Cypress Japan. Fleischer is currently Cypress's vice president of Asia Pacific operations, based in Singapore. In addition to Asia Pacific, he will assume responsibility for the Japanese market when Mitsuo Ohtsuka, the current head of Japanese operations, retires at the end of this quarter.
