AIXTRON to Make Blue LEDs for Russian Nuclear Center

AACHEN/CHELYABINSK, Russia, Feb. 21 -- AIXTRON, a German supplier of supplier of semiconductor epitaxial equipment, announced that The Federal Nuclear Center, a company based in Chelyabinsk, Russia, will buy its AIXTRON 2400G3 HT for the manufacture of nitride-based ultrahigh-brightness blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for the optoelectronics industry.
