Trinity Technologies, a laser safety manufacturer and direct seller of laser safety eyewear, viewing windows and containment systems (barriers and curtains), announced it has ended its long-time distribution relationship with Kentek Corp. . . . Aland Chin was appointed vice president of manufacturing at Axcel Photonics Inc., provider of high-power pump laser modules for optical networks. . . . Kevin Fairbairn has been named president and CEO at Intevac Inc., effective Feb. 4. Norman H. Pond, Intevac's founder and current president and CEO, will remain chairman of the board. Intevac’s photonics business develops electro-optical devices.
