PLC Systems Inc. announced that Edwards Lifesciences Corp. will assume full sales and marketing responsibility in the US for PLC's carbon dioxide (CO2) Heart Laser 2 system and associated transmyocardial revascularization (TMR) procedural kits used in the surgical treatment of severe angina. . . . DALSA Corp. announced it has received a production order for a large number of silicon image sensor chips, for a total contract value of $4.5 million, from an international imaging system manufacturer and longstanding customer. Shipments will begin in the first half of 2002 and continue over two years. The order includes an option for the customer to increase the size of the order by over $2.2 million.
