Rio Grande Medical Technologies to Change Name

ALBEQUERQUE, N.M., Dec. 31 -- Rio Grande Medical Technologies Inc. announced it will change its name to InLight Solutions Inc., effective Jan. 1, 2002.

"InLight Solutions has created a technology platform that will meet the most stringent medical device performance requirements," said Ries Robinson, MD, president and CEO of the company. "While we have a solid medical foundation, we want people to know that our expertise in optics is applicable to both medical and nonmedical needs. We are experts in using light to measure analytes in both human beings and other biological media."
