Atropos COO Launches New Digilab

RANDOLPH, Mass., Oct. 30 --A new Digilab has been launched by Sidney Braginsky, CEO of Atropos Technologies and former president and COO of Olympus America Inc., following the sale of Bio-Rad Laboratories' Spectroscopy Division to Atropos. Bio-Rad's FT-IR spectroscopy business will be assumed by the new and expanded Digilab entity under Braginsky's leadership. Atropos will own the majority interest in Digilab, and Bio-Rad will maintain a continuing interest in the new company.
