Peter Barnwell was named president-elect of the International Microelectronics And Packaging Society (IMAPS) executive council for 2002. Barnwell, who has held various offices with IMAPS Europe, is director of advanced technologies for Heraeus Inc.'s circuit materials division in Pennsylvania.
