Nortel Networks Seals Multiyear Metro Optical Contract with SBC

BOSTON, Oct. 4 -- Nortel Networks said that it has been selected as the primary provider of dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) technology by SBC Communications under a multiyear metro optical contract. The deployment of Nortel Networks leading metro optical products by SBC expands an ongoing strategic relationship between the two companies.
