CMP Media Moves Forward With October Dates for Communications Design Conference

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 25 -- CMP Media announced that the Communications Design Conference will take place as
planned, from October 1-4, 2001 in San Jose, California. The decision to proceed was made with input from exhibitors, speakers and attendees, who supported CMP Media's commitment to present the technical conference and product exhibition.

"Every one of us at CMP Media was saddened by the September 11 tragedy," said Donna Esposito, vice president, CMP Media Electronics Group. "We feel an obligation to support the nation's goal to resume business activity, and with the encouragement we received from the companies and people involved with the event, we believe it is important to move ahead with the Communications Design Conference."
