The PiezoMaster VP7206 series single-channel high-voltage piezoelectric amplifiers from Viking Industrial Products offer 150 W of peak power to control actuators of various sizes. Measuring 2.5 × 4 × 1.25 in., the OEM instruments incorporate the high-voltage power supply and feature adjustable gain, bias and range. The devices can be used in open-loop-driver or in closed-loop-proportional-control applications, and they can be located close to the actuator, limiting the accessibility of high voltage. Their switch mode provides a low-noise design that can be board- or chassis-mounted. The customizable devices are available with a variety of features and options. Applications include micro- and nanopositioning, scanning, microscopy and micromachining.
