Video security cameras that incorporate the technology can detect and identify people and objects at night without active illumination, according to the company. The core offers a flexible platform for assembly into camera OEM enclosures and for integration into existing camera system control electronics. Based on the company’s TriWave germanium-enhanced CMOS image sensor technology, it delivers optional VGA/NTSC/PAL formatted image resolution with high quantum efficiency over a spectral range of 400 to 1650 nm.
