Ophir-Spiricon Inc. has introduced the SP503U and SP620U USB 2.0 silicon CCD cameras for laser beam profiling. The devices capture and analyze wavelengths from 190 to 1550 nm, in continuous-wave and pulsed mode. They feature automatic or manual gain control, a dynamic range up to 64 dB and a programmable electronic shutter. Both cameras include filters for power level measurements, and a user can choose between the LBA and the BeamStar analysis software. The SP503U has a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, while the SP620U offers a resolution of 1600 × 1200 pixels.
