The P-653 piezomotor linear slide from PI (Physik Instrumente) LP consists of a four-part system. Measuring 8 mm long, the device has a speed of up to 200 mm/s, a travel range of 2 mm, a submicron resolution and a holding force of 0.15 N. The moving slider and the piezomotor, which require a 5-VDC supply, are preassembled and mounted on a PCB driver board. The motor is vacuum-compatible, nonmagnetic and self-locking.
