The EPOS2, introduced by Maxon Precision Motors Inc., is a digital positioning controller designed to control brush and brushless DC motors with encoders. With 32-bit digital signal processing technology, the device supports motion control functionalities. It offers security and protection against electromagnetic interference, as a result of its potential-separated inputs and outputs, and it can synchronously run a path specified through interpolation points. The device has applications in tool building, production machinery and automation tasks.
